Nissan Murano – overview
The Nissan Murano is a mid-size SUV that has been produced since 2002. The name was given in honor of the Italian island of the same name. The vehicle was developed by Nissan America in La Jolla, California and is based on the Nissan FF-L platform. The Murano was Nissan's first SUV for the US and Canada. Therefore, it is structurally simple. It offers mediocre driving characteristics, but is richly equipped and stylish. After some changes, Nissan brought the model to the European market in 2004. The current, three generation debuted in 2016 and was restyled in 2018.
