Nissan Primera – overview
The Nissan Primera is a family car produced from 1990 to 2007 for the Japanese and European markets. In North America, Infiniti's entry-level luxury sports sedan was sold under the same name. The word "primera" in Spanish means "first". The car is available in sedan, hatchback and estate bodies. It was equipped with a wide range of engines, including diesel engines for European versions. In Japan, there was a sports version with an engine producing 180 hp. This tradition is continued in the next generations.
