Peugeot 208 – overview
The Peugeot 208 is a B-segment subcompact car produced since 2012. It came to replace the Peugeot 207. The first generation was represented by a 3-door and 5-door hatchback, while the second generation was only a 5-door hatchback due to the small demand for three-door models. The car is considered the most popular Peugeot model in Europe. In 2018 alone, 230,000 units were sold. In 2019, the manufacturer released the second generation. The modern range of models offers an electric version that is potentially in demand in Europe, and PSA Group hopes to become the leader in the B-segment.
