Piaggio Porter – overview
The Piaggio Porter is a LCV produced under the Piaggio brand since 1992. The model is based on the authentic Japanese kei car, the Daihatsu Hijet S80 van, but the front end has been redesigned and features reinforced steel to withstand European crash tests. The interior is completely new. The engines are based on the Japanese units, and are distinguished by reliability and high-torque. The Porter is popular in Europe, Asia and North Africa, almost everywhere representing one of the best work vehicles in terms of price/quality ratio.
