SsangYong Rodius – overview
The SSangYong Rodius is a full-size minivan produced from 2004 to 2019. The model had two generations. In Australia and a number of other countries, it was sold as SSangYong Stavic. The vehicle was designed by Ken Greenlee, who was famous for his unusual style. According to his plan, the vehicle was supposed to resemble a luxury yacht, but many did not appreciate this appearance, calling it ugly and intimidating. The minivan was produced in 7, 9 and 11-seater versions. It was equipped with a 2.7-liter diesel inline 5-cylinder engine, produced under license from Mercedes-Benz. The engine was paired with a 5-speed manual or automatic gearbox.
