Subaru B4 – overview
The Subaru B4 is a sedan version of the Subaru Legacy. The car received the B4 prefix in 1998, meaning “BOXER 4WD”, an engine with an opposed cylinder arrangement and all-wheel drive, which Subaru is rightfully proud of. The sedans keep on being produced to this day. Thus, the last generation was released in 2019 and is sold mainly in the United States. The car has two engines: a modernized 2.5-liter naturally aspirated engine and a 2.4-liter turbocharged unit. The transmission is all-wheel drive, working together with the upgraded Lineartronic CVT.
