Subaru BRZ - catalog and technical specifications
The Subaru BRZ is a compact, rear-wheel-drive S-segment 2-door sports coupe. The car was developed by Subaru in cooperation with Toyota. It was unveiled in December 2011, but its story began in 2008. The creators of the sports car were inspired by the legendary models that reigned on the tracks in the 1980s, namely the Toyota Corolla Levin and Sprinter Trueno AE86 rear-wheel drive coupes, which had no equal in drifting. In order to pay homage to iconic cars, Subaru teamed up with Toyota to create the FT-HS concept, which later became the Subaru BRZ.
