Subaru Forester – overview
The Subaru Forester is a 5-seat all-wheel drive SUV produced by the Japanese company Subaru since 1997. The Subaru Forester is a perfect example of how a model can be successfully developed, becoming better from generation to generation. Unveiled at the Detroit Auto Show, the vehicle received high ground clearance and four-wheel drive. Back then it looked more like an estate raised above the road than an SUV. It was the fusion of the best qualities of an SUV and an estate that led the Forester to success. Today it is a high-end SUV, large and comfortable, stuffed with all modern options and features. There is also a super-off-road version, Subaru Forester Wilderness, with a reinforced suspension and a ground clearance increased to 234 mm, a short final drive and a body kit made of unpainted plastic in a circle.
