Suzuki e Vitara in Israel

The Suzuki e Vitara is a compact 5-door all-electric SUV launched in November 2024. Claimed as a global model. The first electric car in the history of the brand was created by Suzuki with the support of the Toyota concern, which provided the e-TNGA modular platform. However, the development was carried out by the Indian division of Maruti Suzuki. Therefore, the electric Vitara will be produced in India, production will start in the spring of 2025. The electric crossover will not replace the fuel one, but will become an addition to the range. At the same time, Suzuki e Vitara has nothing in common with the “regular” Vitara: larger dimensions, brutal appearance, modern interior with virtual instruments and a large touchscreen media system, wider list of equipment. The wheelbase is 2700 mm versus 2500 mm for the model with an internal combustion engine. The increased distance between the axles promises spaciousness in the cabin. The Suzuki e Vitara is based on the Heartect-e platform, a simplified version of the e-TNGA. LFP batteries are supplied by the Chinese company BYD. Three versions are offered, including all-wheel drive. The range of the longest range is 500 km.
