Volvo 850 – overview
The Volvo 850 is a compact executive car produced by the Swedish automaker Volvo Cars from 1991 to 1996. There were sedan and minivan versions. The model was very different from all previous Volvo models. The car received slightly softer corners, as well as better dynamics and handling characteristics. At the same time, the model was reliable, flexible and spacious. The Swedes have proven they can make modern and fast cars without abandoning traditional Volvo values. Not surprisingly, in most countries, it was the Volvo 850 that became Volvo's best-selling model.
