Voyah Free Plus - catalog and technical specifications
Voyah Free Plus is a full-size 5-seater crossover, essentially a modernized version of the first-born of the Voyah brand, the Free crossover of 2020. In 2023, it was updated, and in April 2025, the second generation was presented at the Shanghai Auto Show under the name Voyah Free+. The “plus” to the name means large-scale alterations, including a completely new interior. Voyah Free Plus received completely redesigned front and rear bumpers, a new radiator grille, headlights, fenders and hood. The rear roof pillars lost their black inserts. The length increased to 4915 mm, the wheelbase is the same 2960 mm. The height increased by 15 mm (to 1660 mm) due to the lidar of the Huawei ADS 4 autopilot system installed on the roof, which includes 48 sensors and cameras. Two microchips with a capacity of 1000 TPS are responsible for the system control. According to the developers, the automatic braking system will be able to operate at speeds up to 160 km/h. In the cabin, instead of three screens in a single retractable unit, a separate display for the instruments and a large tablet of the media system in the center were placed. The multimedia system runs on Huawei's Harmony OS Cockpit 5.0, which means seamless integration with other services from the IT giant. The rear seats have been given larger cushions and armrests for added comfort. All doors are equipped with electric drive and closers. The basic plug-in hybrid version of the Voyah Free Plus with rear-wheel drive has a 1.5-liter turbocharged petrol engine with 129 hp and a Miller cycle and 292-horsepower electric motor on the rear axle and a 43 kWh battery. The range on pure electric traction is 225 km. The mass of the hybrid crossover has increased to 2250 kg, the maximum speed is still limited to 180 km/h. A top-end all-wheel drive version is also promised.
