In Israel, it is necessary to renew the Rishion Rehev annually and pay a license fee for all types of vehicles, including cars, motorcycles, trucks, taxis, tow trucks, buses, tractors, tricycles, etc. The cost of renewing the license is known in advance, and the amount of payments is indexed once a year.
Cost of a license for vehicles weighing up to 3500 kg
Weight up to 3500 kg - this includes almost all passenger cars, crossovers, some SUVs and pickups. For this category of vehicles, the amount of tax payable is calculated based on the purchase price and year of manufacture of the car. According to these two parameters, all cars in Israel are divided into corresponding groups. The group number to which your vehicle belongs is indicated on the left side of the Rishion Rehev.
