Alfa Romeo Alfetta - catalog and technical specifications
The Alfa Romeo Alfetta is a series of business class sedans and coupes produced by Alfa Romeo from 1972 to 1987. The cars were distinguished by the good combination of low weight with powerful engines. Interestingly, the sedans were designed by Alfa Romeo’s Centro Stile, while the coupes were designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro. The car was equipped with a new transmission located at the rear along with the differential for better weight distribution along the axles. The same arrangement was previously used on racing models. By the way, the Alfetta was also part of the honorary escort of the kidnapped and then murdered Italian Prime Minister Aldo Moro.
