BAIC in Israel

BAIC (China) or "Beijing Automotive Group" is a state-owned automaker and holding company comprising several Chinese automobile and machine-building facilities. It was founded in 1958 in collaboration with Daimler and Hyundai. In 2012, BAIC ranked No.4 by output with 3.1 million finished vehicles. BAIC is the fifth largest Chinese automaker and the second largest manufacturer of commercial vehicles. BAIC Group’s subdivisions manufacture ordinary and military cars, SUVs, trucks, buses, agricultural machinery, minibuses and off-roaders. They also manufacture Hyundai and Mercedes branded cars for the Chinese market.
