Buick LaCrosse – overview
The Buick LaCrosse is a mid-size sedan produced since 2004. It has been positioned as a full-size car since 2010. This comfortable, safe and beautiful model is very popular in China. The first generation was assembled in the USA, after which it moved to China. For the second generation (2010-2016), the manufacturer introduced a hybrid modification with a powertrain consisting of an electric motor with 15 hp and a 2.4-liter 4-cylinder engine with 182 hp. The stylish sedan gained immense popularity among Chinese officials and was approved by the PRC government for government procurement in 2012. The third generation of the 2016 model has become even larger, more refined and luxurious. The new LaCrosse features an all-new 3.6-liter V6 VVT engine that develops 305 hp, paired with the latest 8-speed automatic transmission. The model can be all-wheel drive or front-wheel drive.
