Kia Besta in Israel

Kia Besta is a passenger car for commercial purposes, presented as a minibus with 9-12 seats and a cargo-passenger van with two wheelbase options, which could accommodate from 3 to 6 passengers or 1200 kg of cargo. The model turned out to be quite successful and was produced from 1985 to 1997. The minivan received a simple but high-quality interior that fully satisfied all the requirements for the interior of a hard-working delivery vehicle. Passenger versions offered more comfort and were usually equipped with power steering, air conditioning and power accessories. The cargo versions were distinguished by their asceticism. The trunk volume, even in the passenger version, was about 500 liters. The Kia Besta line of power units consisted of two diesel engines; at the end of production, a 2-liter gasoline engine appeared. There were two transmissions to choose from: a 5-speed manual and a 4-speed automatic. Rear-wheel drive, but there were also all-wheel drive options.
