Land Rover Freelander generations
The Land Rover Freelander is a compact four-wheel drive SUV produced by Land Rover from 1997 to 2014. The second generation was sold from 2007 to 2015 in North America and the Middle East as the LR2, in Europe as the Freelander. The SUV was distinguished by excellent off-road performance and a relatively moderate price. Perhaps that is why it became the best-selling all-wheel drive vehicle in Europe for five years. It is still in demand in the secondary market.
