LEVC (English LEVC or London EV Company) is the only specialized enterprise in the UK producing electrified taxis for London. The company, owned by the Chinese auto giant Geely, has its own plant in the English village of Anstey, a suburb of Coventry. Not only do guests of the British capital travel by Chinese taxi, the company also supplies its models to Israel. They are driven by a sequential plug-in hybrid power plant, where Volvo motors are not connected to the wheels, but only serve to recharge the battery.
