Mercedes EQS AMG – overview
The Mercedes-AMG EQS is a luxury sports electric liftback, the first production electric vehicle of the AMG family, unveiled at the Munich IAA Mobility exhibition in September 2021. The manufacturer claims that the high-performance electric car was created exclusively for true car enthusiasts. However, it is not yet known how they will perceive completely silent electric motors and Mercedes' attempt to fill the void left by the absence of the familiar V8 engine, the so-called "emotional sound of the car". The new Mercedes-AMG EQS is based on the EQS, the flagship model of the Mercedes-EQ electric sub-brand.
