Toyota Avensis – overview
The Toyota Avensis is a family front-wheel drive car, which was famous for its reliability and conservatism. It was produced in England and sold in various countries. Introduced in 1997, the car was offered in sedan, hatchback and estate bodies. The car was sold as Toyota Caldina estate in Japan. It was equipped with 1.6- to 2-liter engines, while the more powerful one could be equipped with an automatic transmission. The second generation was produced from 2003 to 2008. The third appeared in 2008 and was restyled twice. The car was produced until August 2018.
