Toyota Carina generations

The Toyota Carina is a family sedan produced from 1970 to 2001. It had 7 generations, and the first three generations were represented by coupes, hardtops and estates. Released in 1996, the latest generation received 1.5 and 2 liter gasoline engines and a 2.2 liter turbocharged diesel engine, paired with automatic or manual transmissions. There were modifications with all-wheel drive, which were based on a 2-liter engine. The Carina was replaced by the Toyota Allion.
