Volkswagen Passat (USA) generations
The Volkswagen Passat (USA) is an American version of the very popular Volkswagen Passat, produced from 2011 to 2015. The American sedan turned out to be larger than the corresponding European model. Technology and design originated in Germany, with Volkswagen of America providing "concept orientation" (whatever that means). In general, we can say that the reorientation of the Passat to the United States was quite successful: the mediocre European sedan turned into a real American car, large, spacious and powerful.
