First generation

Second generation

The third generation of Chevrolet Camaro was produced from 1982 to 1992, undergoing restyling in 1985. The third Camaro turned out to be just great! Its appearance instantly made every other sports coupe in America obsolete. The third-generation Camaro was much smaller than its predecessor, shorter and lighter, and in shape became more of a hatchback with a large rear trunk lid, mainly consisting of glass. The third Camaro received a new chassis with independent MacPherson strut front suspension and a spring-loaded rear axle. The car’s shapes were crisp and graceful. And he was perfectly controlled! Car and Driver magazine named Chevrolet Camaro Z28 America’s best handling car! And Motor Trend awarded the title of the best car of 1982, first of all, for its excellent driving parameters.

Fourth generation

The fourth generation of Chevrolet Camaro was produced from 1992 to 2002, going through restyling in 1998. The fourth Camaro was pleasing to the eye and comfortable, richly equipped and, best of all, the motors were back again, the power of which deserved respect. But… By 2002, General Motors was on the verge of bankruptcy, which is why it had to abandon the production of many cars, including the Chevrolet Camaro, the production of which was stopped for a long 7 years.

Fifth generation

The fifth generation of Chevrolet Camaro was produced from 2009 to 2016, having gone through restyling in 2013. The fifth Camaro again received a body and a coupe and a cabrio. A powerful engine has reappeared - a 427-horsepower 8-cylinder V-shaped, capable of speeds up to 245 km/h. But the fifth-generation Camaro is a fundamentally different car, based on the award-winning concept car built on the GM Zeta platform. The fifth Camaro is fast-paced, bright, modern, but at the same time, it has received the ‘hereditary’ features of the iconic Chevrolet Camaro. Sixth generation

The sixth generation Chevrolet Camaro has been produced from 2015 to the present, having received a restyling in 2018. Built on the new corporate Alpha platform, the sixth Camaro features over 70% new parts, a completely new interior, new front and rear suspension and powertrain. It has become a little smaller and lighter than its predecessor, but retained all the recognizable features. The American Car and Driver magazine named the new Camaro among the top ten cars of 2016, and Motor Trend announced it as the winner of the Car of the Year competition.
