The Ford F-Series vehicles are a large family of American full-size pickups that have been manufactured from 1948 to the present day. The F-Series pickups are some of the most successful vehicles in Ford history. In 1998, the F-250 and heavier models were united into a separate Ford Super Duty series. The series consists of the F-250, F-350 and F-450 models.

In September 2015, the manufacturer presented the fourth generation of Ford heavy pickups, which underwent restyling in 2019 and 2021. Keep on reading to find out more about the 2021 °F-250.

Exterior

The fourth generation F-Series is a completely new model: the brand new closed frame is 95% high-strength steel, which makes it 24 (!) times stronger, and the body is made of high-strength aluminum alloy. Thanks to the lightweight metal, the new Ford F-250 has lost 159 kg of weight, despite the fact that the transmission parts have been strengthened. The pickup is 6,351 mm long (6,051 mm for one and a half version), 2,031 mm wide and 2,070 mm high.

In Israel, two cab options are offered: one and a half in the Lariat version and a double five-seater in the King Ranch version.

Interior

The interior of the 2021 Ford F-250 (Israel version) features an 8-inch Sync 4 multimedia system screen, wood trim and leather seats. The front seats are electrically adjustable, heated and have an optional massage function. The huge two-piece sunroof gives a feeling of freedom (option). Under the rear seat there is a secret place for items (in the double cab).

Powertrains

The Power Stroke V8 6.7 turbocharged diesel engine is incredibly powerful, producing 475 hp and 1,450 Nm of torque. In 2019, this engine was upgraded, acquiring an increased injection pressure, as well as new injectors and a variable geometry turbine.

The new 10-speed TorqShift automatic transmission is the only option for Israel. Plus, we can purchase only all-wheel drive versions. The vehicle features a leaf suspension (rear) or a spring suspension (front). The new Ford F-250 is capable of towing a 3,500 kg trailer and takes on board more than a ton of cargo. A double cab has a load capacity of 1.3 tons and a single cab has a capacity of almost 1.5 tons.

Equipment and trim levels

There are two trim levels for the 2021/2022 Ford F-250 in Israel: Lariat and King Ranch. The first one comes in a one and a half and double cab version, whereas the second can have only a double cab version.
