Isuzu D-Max. Pick-up of the Year
The winner of 4×4 magazine’s Pickup of the Year 2021 Award, the Isuzu D-Max has won another title. It was named What Van? Pick-up of the Year 2022. The model has turned out to be so good that the manufacturer confidently states that “D-Max is setting standards high in the pick-up truck world”. UK’s What Van? is the largest consumer magazine that has been writing about cars for a long time. Its awards are considered one of the most honorable in the automotive world. That’s why Isuzu UK is so proud of this victory. Moreover, the new Isuzu D-Max received the maximum five-star safety rating after completing the tough Euro NCAP test.
The new Isuzu D-Max comes to Israel with a 1.9-liter diesel engine, coupled with a manual or automatic transmission, all-wheel or rear-wheel drive. The price for the entry-level version with a single cab starts from 197,407 shekels (including a licensing fee, as of 2021).
We’d also like to mention other winners. The Renault Kangoo won the International Van of the Year Award, while the Citroen e-Berlingo, Peugeot e-Partner, Toyota Proace City Electric, Vauxhall Combo-e became the leaders in the Eclectic Van of the Year Category. The Citroen e-Dispatch, Peugeot e-Expert, Toyota Proace Electric and Vauxhall Vivaro-e competed for the Medium Van of the Year Award. The Fiat Professional Ducato won the Large Van of The Year Award, and the Fiat Professional e-Ducato was named Minibus of the Year. The safety award went to Volkswagen commercial vehicles, the Ford Transit Custom was named Used Van of the Year, and the Land Rover Defender Hardtop became the Editor’s Choice.
