Ferrari 12Cilindri – overview
The Ferrari 12Cilindri is a mid-size 2-door 2-seater Gran Turismo sports car that debuted in May 2024. It is produced as a coupe with a standard glass roof and as a roadster Ferrari 12Cilindri Spider with a folding hardtop that transforms in 14 seconds. The Ferrari 12Cilindri replaced the Ferrari 812 Superfast, continuing the history of the classic 12-cylinder engines with which Ferrari began. Unlike the 812 model, it has a 20 mm shorter wheelbase (2700 mm) and a more robust body: torsional rigidity has increased by 15%. The design is reminiscent of the classic Daytona models of the 60s. The hood, traditionally for front-engine Ferraris, is mounted on the front hinges and folds forward. The sports car is equipped with active aerodynamic elements that rise at speeds above 60 km/h, increasing downforce. The interior has three screens: for instruments (15.6 inches), a central multimedia touchscreen (10.25 inches) and a display for the passenger (8.8 inches). There is Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and wireless charging for a smartphone. Recycled materials are partially used for the upholstery (65% of Alcantara is made from plastic waste). A Burmester audio system with a power of 1600 watts and 15 speakers is installed. The powerful 6.5-liter V12 engine produces 830 hp at 9,250 rpm and a torque of 678 Nm at 7,250 rpm. The 1,560 kg coupe accelerates to the first "hundred" in 2.9 seconds, to 200 km / h - in 7.9 seconds. The maximum speed is 340 km / h. The roadster is noticeably heavier (1,620 kg), so its dynamics are worse: 3.0 seconds to "hundreds" and 8.3 seconds to 200 km / h.
