Foton eTunland – overview

Foton e-Tunland is a full-size electric pickup truck launched in 2019. The large and roomy van has impressive dimensions (length 5340 mm, wheelbase 3110 mm), a two-row cabin designed for five riders, and a glazed cargo compartment. The cabin has a rear wall so that the cargo area is isolated from the cabin. The electric motor is installed on the rear axle, the traction battery is screwed from below to the frame within the wheelbase. Curb weight is 2300 km, payload capacity is 900 kg. The cabin has a modern 10-inch multimedia system. Standard equipment included climate control, cruise control, parking sensors, rear view camera, driving mode switch, tinted windows, etc. However, there are only two airbags and there are no advanced electronic assistants. The electric motor produces 177 horsepower. The LFP battery from CATL with a capacity of 88.5 kWh provides a decent range of 450 km according to the WLTP standard. DC charging is possible at a power of 80 kW. Foton e-Tunland has good performance characteristics, is economical to operate and is suitable for both private businesses and city services.
