Honda HR-V generations
The Honda HR-V is a subcompact SUV produced by Honda Motor (Japan) since 1998. It has front- and all-wheel drive, 3 or 5-door versions. The name HR-V is short for "Hi-rider Revolutionary Vehicle". The HR-V is a "global model" of the Japanese company, targeted primarily at "young people who care about the car’s interior, and more importantly, about its exterior”. A total of over 80,000 vehicles are sold annually in the USA alone.
