The Saab 9-5 is a business class sedan that came to replace the 9000 in 1997. A year later, the manufacturer introduced an estate version. The car was produced until 2012. It had two generations. The Saab 9-5 was based on the front-wheel drive platform from General Motors, featuring gasoline engines, including turbocharged ones, with a volume of 2.0 and 2.3 liters or a 3-liter V6 engine producing from 150 to 200 hp, as well as turbocharged diesel engines.
