Cadillac XT4. 1st generation, 2023 restyling
The Cadillac XT4 is a compact premium SUV (4.5 m long). One of the newest models of the oldest American company has been produced since 2018 in China, as well as at General Motors plant in Kansas. In Israel, the popular vehicle is represented by front or all-wheel drive versions with a 2.0-liter engine. At the beginning of 2023, the first generation was restyled. The sales in the US and China are expected to start in the summer of 2023. It is still unknown when the updated XT4 appears in Israel.
Exterior
The 2023 Cadillac XT4 has become more futuristic, but at the same time strict: the SUV features a new, narrower front optics with thin stripes of running lights and three small rectangles of head light. A clear reduction in the number of chrome elements, modified bumpers, an updated radiator grille and hood, modified taillights have changed the overall look of the vehicle. The XT4 began to look like an electric Cadillac Lyriq. In addition, the SUV has acquired the redesigned wheel rims with a diameter of 18 and 20 inches.
Interior
The interior has also been modernized: the main innovation is the front panel like that of the cool and large Cadillac Escalade with a huge curved 33-inch touch screen, combining the digital dashboard and the multimedia system screen. Now there is an over-the-air update option, a remote control application, 5G connectivity, Google network services, including navigation, a voice assistant and an application store. If desired, you can connect to the Android Auto interface and Apple CarPlay with a full wireless connection. There is a new transmission joystick, a head-up display and an AKG Studio sound system with 13 speakers, although the latter are offered at an additional cost.
Powertrains
The 2023 Cadillac XT4 has kept its powertrains: in the USA, the SUV is sold with a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine with a capacity of 238 hp, paired with a 9-speed automatic gearbox. The model can be front- or all-wheel drive. There are three trim levels: Premium, Premium Luxury and Sport. The latter boasts an adaptive suspension!
