Hyundai Accent is a compact B-class passenger car from the South Korean car manufacturer, Hyundai Motor, produced since 1994. In 2020, the fifth generation of the 2017 Hyundai Accent Sedan was offered on the Israeli market.

The 4-door 2019/2020 Hyundai Accent Sedan with five seats is compact in size: 4,440 mm long, 1,729 mm wide, and wheelbase of 2,600 mm. The trunk volume reaches 480 liters.

Appearance

The fifth generation Hyundai Accent has been produced from 2017 to the present day. The new Accent has aggressive sports design elements, numerous multi-layered patterns, large air intake systems. The hood is slightly tilted towards the road and a bit elevated in the center. A significant tilt of the windshield makes the front end look aggressive, especially with the triangular ‘grin’ of the optics. The sporting ambitions of the 2019/2020 Hyundai Accent are also demonstrated by beautiful alloy wheels in slightly enlarged arches, as well as catchy chrome handles. The sedan also has an aerodynamic appendage at the very end of the trunk lid.

Passenger compartment

The new 2020 Accent boasts excellent beautiful fabric, decent quality plastics and leather, and a highly functional multimedia system. The driver will also be pleasantly surprised by other available options. The seats of the 2020 Hyundai Accent will make the travel experience of each passenger more comfortable. This is due to the fact that each seat has an excellent fabric or leather finish and quality filling.

Modifications

In Israel, the new Accent comes as a front-wheel-drive car with two petrol engines to choose from: a 1.4-liter engine producing 100 hp and a 1.6-liter engine producing 123 hp. Both are complemented by a 7-speed automatic transmission. The top speed varies from 183 to 192 km/h, depending on the engine. Plus, their highway fuel consumption is practically the same: 5.2-5.5 liters per 100 km.

Trim versions

The 2020 Hyundai Accent Sedan offers the Inspire trim to its Israeli buyers. It is equipped with a navigation system, cruise control, ABS, brake assist and stabilization system. The basic options of the new 2020 Hyundai Accent also include power steering, power glass windows, air conditioning, a cooled glove box, multimedia and audio system.
