The Hyundai i800 is a compact M-class minivan produced by the South Korean automobile maker, Hyundai Motor, since 1997. In 2007, the company introduced the second generation, which has already gone through restyling three times. In 2020, Israeli buyers could purchase the second generation of the i800 after the third restyling in 2018.
The 2019/2020 5-Door 8-Seater Hyundai i800 Minivan has the following dimensions: 5,125 mm in length, 1,920 mm in width, and wheelbase of 3,200 mm. The luggage trunk volume varies from 851 liters (minimum) to 4,308 liters (maximum).
Distinctive features
The seats are arranged in a classic manner. There is one passenger seat next to the driver’s seat, followed by two rows of three seats. The minivan is equipped with side sliding doors and rear hinged doors, thanks to which even the “big” passengers can easily get to their seats, plus the process of parking and unloading becomes more convenient. The loading capacity of the i800 is within 1,000 kilograms, but the weight of the tow-behind trailer can reach 2.3 tons.
Modifications
In Israel, the new Hyundai i800 comes as a front-wheel-drive car with a 2.5-liter turbo-diesel engine producing 170 hp. It allows the minivan to accelerate to a speed of 180 km/h. The engine is complemented by a 6-speed automatic transmission. The average highway fuel consumption is 7.3 liters.
Trim versions
The 2020 Hyundai i800 offers its Israeli buyers three trim versions: Standart, GLS and TOP. All of them are equipped with folding rear seats. The versions incorporate ABS and ASR, brake assist, collision avoidance system and stabilization system. The basic options of the 2020 Hyundai i800 Minivan also include multimedia system, USB, audio system, power glass windows, air conditioning, full-size spare wheel and fog lights.
