Kia Stinger Liftback. 1 generation. Released since 2017

Kia Stinger is a rear-wheel drive D-class liftback from the South Korean car manufacturer, Kia Motors, produced since 2017. There are also four-wheel drive versions. In 2020, the 2017 first generation Kia Stinger Liftback could be purchased on the Israeli market.

The 2018/2019 Kia Stinger 5-Door 5-Seater Liftback has the following dimensions: 4,830 mm long, 1,870 mm wide, and a wheelbase of 2,906 mm. The volume of the trunk reaches 406 liters.

Stylish and passionate

A beautiful coupe-like silhouette, a low roof, a long hood and a short front overhang make the Stinger more efficient. The South Korean manufacturer claims Stinger is an extension of your passionate character. This is a car for those who want more out of life: more comfort, more drive, more brightness. All elements of the Stinger, from the expressive silhouette to the powerful engine, turn your familiar routes into daily pleasure.

Modifications

The new Stinger comes to Israel as a rear-wheel drive car only, but our customers will be able to choose one of two modifications of the SUV: with a 2-liter petrol engine producing 245 hp or a 3.3 liter ‘charged’ 6-cylinder V-shaped engine producing 370 hp. Both of them have direct injection and turbocharging, both are complemented by an 8-speed automatic transmission. The first engine enables the liftback to accelerate to 233 km/h, while the second one achieves a record speed of 270 km/h! The first engine goes ‘from zero to one hundred’ in 6 seconds, while the second one does it in 4.9 seconds.

Trim versions

In Israel, the new Kia Stinger 2020 offers a GT Line version for a ‘standard’ engine and a Twin Turbo GT version for a ‘charged’ engine. Both of them are equipped with a sunroof and a panoramic roof, tinted glass, leather interior, LED headlights and R18 alloy wheels.

Both trim versions of the 2020 Kia Stinger liftback have at least 7 airbags, central locking, immobilizer, rear or circular camera, rear and front parking sensors, adaptive cruise control, driving mode selection system and almost a complete set of electronic assistants: lane control and blind spot monitoring, driver fatigue sensor, ABS and ASR, hill start assist, brake assist, collision avoidance and stabilization system.

The basic options for the new 2020/2021 Kia Stinger liftback include, among other things, a modern multimedia system suitable for Android Auto, Carplay, Bluetooth and USB, a projection-type display (Twin Turbo GT version), audio system, leather steering wheel and gearshift lever, heated steering wheel, side mirrors and front seats, power windows, electrically folding mirrors, power steering and electrically operated steering, 2-zone climate control, multifunction steering wheel and shift paddles, as well as keyless access.
