Genesis. New trim levels of the GV70 electric SUV have appeared in Israel
In February 2023, Genesis Israel expands the range of versions of the Genesis GV70 SUV. Two new trim levels have appeared in Israel: they are more advanced and, of course, more expensive. Recall that at the start of sales in Israel, in January 2022, the Genesis GV70 was only available as EV Edition at a price of 469,000 shekels.
What can an entry-level version offer?
The entry-level EV Edition includes: 12.3-inch digital dashboard, 14.5-inch multimedia screen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, wireless charging pad, parking sensors and 360-degree view camera, automatic power tailgate, power front seats with position memory and power side mirrors, separate climate control, interior lighting with 64 shades, smart key, power sunroof, dimmable rear windows, adaptive suspension and much more.
GV70 Electrified Luxury – 499,000 shekels
In addition to the above list, the new Luxury trim level offers 20-inch wheels, separate three-zone climate control, better and more expensive finishing materials, a Lexicon sound system with 14 speakers, and an active noise filtering system.
GV70 Electrified Ultimate - 519,000 shekels
The top-end Ultimate version includes NAPPA leather trim with G-MATRIX stitching, suede headlining, driver’s seat with side support and electric adjustment in 18 directions, heated second row seats, overhead display.
Powertrains
All the versions come with the same two electric motors with a total capacity of 430 hp. Therefore, all electric GV70s are all-wheel drive. By pressing the ‘Boost’ button, you can briefly increase the power to 490 hp. In this sport mode, the SUV accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.2 seconds, with a top speed of 235 km/h. The 77.4 kWh traction battery provides a range of 465 km (with 19-inch wheels) or 455 km (with 20-inch wheels). Home charging with an 11 kW charger takes more than 8 hours, but there is also DC fast charging up to 350 kW. V2L technology allows you to connect electrical devices to a charging outlet through an external adapter.
In addition to the electric one, our market offers the gasoline version of the Genesis GV70 with a 2.5-liter turbo engine producing 304 hp, paired with an 8-speed automatic gearbox and rear-wheel drive. The cost of the entry-level modification with an internal combustion engine starts from 343,787 shekels (as of the end of 2022).
