The Skoda Kamiq is a front-wheel drive 5-door compact crossover from the Czech automaker Škoda Auto, which has been produced in 2019. The Kamiq is a completely new Skoda model that complements the lineup of Kodiaq and Karoq. And all of these Czech crossovers are available in the Israel market.
Exterior
The first generation of the Skoda Kamiq SUV is built on the MQB-A0 platform, which has also been used for the Scala model. In terms of dimensions, the car is very compact, it is as close to the Kia Rio X-Line as possible and smaller than the Hyundai Creta and Skoda Karoq. However, it is larger than the Suzuki Vitara. Of course, the FWD Kamiq is a real towny, not an off-road conqueror. Essentially, it looks like a raised hatchback. It is dynamic and compact. Fully LED ‘double-deck’ headlights with Kamika fog lights, equipped with dynamic turn signals, first appeared in the model range of the Czech brand. Pointed rear LED-lights are made in the traditional Skoda shape of the letter ‘C’. A taillight and dynamic turn signals are integrated into the tailgate.
Interior
The 2019 Skoda Kamiq salon received a new design, different from the Kodiaq and Karoq. The high seating position of the driver provides excellent visibility. The freely programmable virtual control panel allows you to customize the combination and appearance of the instruments. There is an option to select a driving mode, including a sports one, with more rigid suspension settings Sport Chassis Control in the top-end trim version. The chairs are comfortable, with a pronounced profile, high softbacks, microfiber inserts. A multimedia system with an Internet connection, smartphone integration, and Wi-fi is responsible for entertainment.

And when the crossover is on the go, the driver is assisted by ESP, ABS, and other electronic systems.
The 2020 Skoda Kamiq boasts a set of 9 airbags. There are mounts for Isofix and Top Tether child seats, mounts for a special belt that allows you to safely transport dogs in the back seat. If an accident is imminent, Crew Protect Assist is activated. It activates the seat belt pre-tensioners and closes the windows.
