Plymouth Barracuda generations

The Plymouth Barracuda is one of the iconic American pony cars produced by Plymouth Chrysler Corporation from 1964 to 1974. The typical rear-wheel drive muscle car competed with the Ford Mustang, even its premiere, which took place on April 1, 1964, was 2 weeks ahead of the introduction of Ford’s bestseller. Therefore, formally, the Barracuda can be considered the true ancestor of the classic muscle car segment. The reliable car was equipped with engines producing over 300 hp. The model is still in great demand among collectors.
