Renault Kadjar – overview
The Renault Kadjar is a compact SUV produced since 2015. It comes in both front and all-wheel drive versions. The vehicle is equipped with gasoline and diesel engines, coupled with manual and 6-speed dual clutch robotic transmissions. The name "Kadjar" symbolizes a play on words: the first three letters "KAD" come from the word "quad", taken from the world of ATVs, the last three "JAR" are a combination of two French words, symbolizing maneuverability and sudden appearance. Renault says that Kadjar's “sound and spelling of the name have an exotic feel which suggests adventure and discovering new horizons”.
