BMW 4 Series are sports coupes and cabriolets of the D class from the German BMW group. Compact premium models are considered as such by thr carmaker itself. In the today’s Israeli market, the first-generation BMW 4 Series is available in the 2017-restyled coupe body.
BMW 4 series appeared in the 1970-80. That time, all coupes and cabriolets were considered the 3-rd series. Only starting with 2013, they are considered a separate 4gth series.
First generation
The first-generation BMW 4 Series formally started since 2013. It’s officially called first generation and is sold as such after the 2017 restyling. The BMW group decided to separate the mid-class coupes as a separate series in 2011. Only in 2013, they started thr production of the conventional and then sports coupes. The first-generation BMW 4 series is based on the new-generation BMW 3 series, although they have no single common body work panel.

2017 restyling
Restyled BMW 4 Series 2017 coupe has received even more dynamics, maneuvrability, and comfortability. Uncompromised power, thoroughly improved design, and improved driveability. In another words, it’s an amazing sports coupe! All the cars of the series have been updated. Minor changes affected the overall design, the bixenone headlights were replaced with the LED optics. New BMW 4 Series cars received more interior options, better technical and driving parameters. In 2020-2021, the new second generation of BMW 4 Series is planned to be produced.
