Mercedes-Benz GLA AMG. 2nd generation, 2023 restyling
The second generation Mercedes-Benz GLA SUV has undergone a scheduled restyling, including a powerful AMG version. Simultaneously with the GLA, the larger GLB was also updated. The 2023 restyling has touched the exterior, interior, equipment and powertrains.
The GLA loses in length, passenger compartment volume and cargo space, but it offers a more stylish exterior design. The GLB looks more brutal and more practical due to the better capacity. Both have good entry-level equipment.
The exterior changes have touched the optics and bumpers. A new blue tint has appeared in the palette. The vehicle has a new steering wheel, the latest version of the MBUX multimedia system and an additional USB connector for fast charging. The list of options was replenished with the trailer maneuvering assist system.

The most important change has taken place under the hood. The 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLA AMG has lost its most powerful versions: GLA 45 (387 hp, 480 Nm) and GLA 45 S (421 hp, 500 Nm). Now, in combination with the sports package, only the GLA 35 4Matic all-wheel drive modification is offered, which is equipped with a 2.0-liter turbo four-cylinder engine and an 8-speed robotic gearbox. The vehicle comes with a mild hybrid system supplemented by a 48-volt starter-generator. The output is 306 hp and 400 Nm. Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h occurs in 5.2 seconds (the similar AMG GLB is 0.3 seconds slower).
