Citroën Grand C4 SpaceTourer. More than a minivan
Citroën C4 Grand SpaceTourer is a FWD, 7-seat minivan, produced since the end of 2016 by the French Citroën. Although, of course, in fact, it is still the same Grand C4 Picasso with a new name. Citroën has been producing the Grand C4 Picasso since 2006, when it was first presented in Paris. The minivan also has its 5-seat version - without the prefix ‘Grand’ - the C4 Picasso - now it is called Citroën C4 SpaceTourer. The first-generation Citroën C4 Grand SpaceTourer of the 2016 model year is now available on the Israeli market.
In fact, the first-generation Grand SpaceTourer was produced from 2006 to 2013. The second-generation Citroën Grand C4 was produced 2014. And since 2016, there was a third generation or a completely updated version, but it was already the car, which today is called Citroën C4 Grand SpaceTourer. To avoid confusion, let’s call everything produced before 2018 Citroën C4 Grand Picasso, and after 2018 - Grand SpaceTourer - because in 2018 that the minivan was officially renamed.
Third generation
The third-generation Citroën Grand C4 Picasso, produced since 2016, is designed with the comfort of every passenger in mind. It features a light and free loft-style interior with a panoramic windshield and panoramic glass roof. Its design involves flowing lines, air vents for 3rd row passengers, and a large 645-L trunk. By the way, it’s the most capacious trunk in its category, with a width of 1.17 meters between the wheel arches. With the largest wheelbase in its class (2.84 meters), which is just one of the many advantages of the modular EMP2 platform, the car demonstrates impressive interior volume and a compact exterior.
The 2016 Citroën Grand C4 Picasso, which later became Citroën C4 Grand SpaceTourer, also has amazing interior transforming capabilities. If you need more space to load, it can easily be obtained by folding the 2nd and 3rd row seats into the floor, and load items up to 2.50 meters long! On the other hand, if you need to carry more passengers, all you need to do is to fold out the seats hidden under the floor.
New 2018 minivan with a new name
In March 2018, Citroën renamed its compact van. At the same time, it was refined and modernized. This is how Citroën C4 Grand SpaceTourer was born. You can safely consider the new minivan as a restyled version of Citroën Grand C4 Picasso. The advantages of Citroën C4 Grand SpaceTourer are not only safety, comfort, and ergonomics. Its main advantage is roominess. Compact vans have always been an excellent option for family trips, but this one is the true quintessence of the advantages of such cars.

The exterior of the minivan didn’t change a lot: a new front bumper with fog lights and new LED taillights with 3D effect, new black chevrons with chrome finishing on the tailgate - that’s all the exterior changes.
And the interior is different! Two dashboard displays. Touch screen to control music, navigation, climate, and all the auxillary settings. Embedded fragrance diffuser, massage front seats, ‘ottoman’ footstool for a front passenger, electrically-controlled driver seat with two-osition memory, fold-out tables for the second row of seats, panoramic windshield with adjustable open sector, roof of glass, 360-degree 4-camera surveillance system, trunk door with an electric drive, many niches, drawers, and 7 full-scale seats. However, these all are not available in the simplest version.
