Fiat 500X. First generation, restyled in 2018
Fiat 500X is a subcompact FWD Fiat’s crossover, restyled in 2018. With this restyling, the car received a range of various engines. Today, a 500Х of the 2018/2019 model year is offered on the Israeli market.
The restyling of Fiat 500X retained its dimensions (4248×1796×1600 mm) and wheelbase (2570 mm), but thoroughly refined the car. First of all, Italian designers redesigned the front and rear bumpers, adding more sports in their design. In front, there are twin C-shaped contour skirts, acting as daytime running lights. The upgraded taillights got central inserts, painted in body color.
Modifications
Of the entire range of engines that Fiat offers in Europe, in Israel the 500X comes with only a 1.4-L turbocharged gasoline engine rated at 140 hp. It has an average fuel consumption of 5.7 L per 100 km and the top speed of 190 km/h. It is equipped with a 6-speed automatic transmission.
Trim versions
The restyling has made the equipment of the car much richer. Eevn in the basic version, new Fiat 500X 2019/2020 offers 6 airbags, adjustable 3.5’ onboard display, brand new multimedia system with a 7’ sensor display and smartphone and Bluetooth connection options, adaptive criuse control, rear-view camera, rear parking distance sensors, fuel-saving Start-Stop system, and powerfold mirrors that are so useful when driving on narrow streets.
The new Fiat 500Х offers a wide range of driver assistants. Besides standard ABS, ASR, BAS, EBD, EBA, and ESP, there is a traffic sign recognition system, lane-keeping aid, blind zone monitoring, driver fatigue sensor, anti-collision system, and even a hill-start assist (HSA).
