Jaguar F-Type Roadster. 1st generation, restyled 2019
The Jaguar F-Type is a premium sports car produced by the British automaker Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) since 2013. It can be in the back of a roadster or a coupe. There is also an all-wheel drive version. In 2020, the first generation Jaguar F-Type could be purchased on the Israeli market after the 2019/2020 facelift.
The 2-door 2-seat Jaguar F-Type 2019/2020 roadster measures 4470 mm long, 1923 m wide with a wheelbase of 2622 mm. The volume of the luggage compartment is 132 liters minimum, 233 liters maximum.
Distinctive features
Impressive dynamics, legendary handling even in difficult conditions, expressive, recognizable design. The new Jaguar F-Type 2020 is a thoroughbred sports car from the UK, designed to impress and win. Each element has an incredible power. The nose of the body is decorated with new ultra-thin Pixel headlights, equipped with four separately controlled LED modules and branded J - shaped sections of running lights. The radiator grille, with its unchanged shape, has slightly increased in size and received a new grid with hexagonal cells decorated with black gloss. The same design is typical for the side air intakes. Aft of the ‘EF-type’ has got new lanterns with original trapezoidal outlines. The platform under the license plate, located between the optics units, also turned into a trapezoid. The wide grille, the long hood show-the car has incredible potential. A design created by the wind itself.
Modifications
The roadster can have both rear-and all-wheel-drive versions. The range of engines for rear-wheel drive models includes 2-liter 300-horsepower, 3-liter 380-horsepower and 5-liter 450-horsepower gasoline engines. For the 4×4 variant, there are 3-liter 380-horsepower, 5-liter 450-horsepower and 5-liter 575-horsepower gasoline engines. All engines are supplemented with an 8-speed"automatic’. The most powerful-575-horsepower V8-is capable of delivering 300 km / h! And the acceleration time from “zero to a hundred” is only 3.7 seconds!
Another innovation in the technical part is that cars with a V8 engine have a special Quiet Start function, which makes it possible to start the engine in ‘quiet’ mode. That is, the car will not make a branded roar until you give the desired load to the power plant or select the Dynamic driving program. The system is switched on/off at the driver’s request.
Configuration options
Even in the most ‘simple’ configuration of the Jaguar F-Type 2020 roadster, there will be cruise control and a rear camera, rear and front parking sensors, navigation and a system for selecting driving modes, lane control and a driver fatigue sensor, a collision prevention system and road sign recognition.
