Last Aventador: The world says goodbye to the supercar

Lamborghini Aventador. Bodywork, Exterior.

The Aventador was released back in 2011. And, ten years later, in July 2021, Lamborghini introduced its final batch of the LP 780-4 Ultimae. The batch comprises 600 cars. On July 8-11, 2021, the supercar was unveiled at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.

The Lamborghini Aventador LP 780-4 Ultimae is powered by a 6.5 liter V12 engine. The engine has been boosted to 780 hp and 720 Nm of torque. It offers 10 ‘horses’ more than the Aventador SVJ, and 40 more than the Aventador S. The new version of the coupe is 25 kg lighter than the S modification, and the newcomer has inherited a fully-controlled chassis from it. All the complex systems and electronic assistants in the supercar are controlled by the famous Lamborghini Dinamica Veicolo Attiva system. However, the Ultima has sharper steering responses and allows transferring more traction to the rear axle so that you could experience the thrill of driving the final Aventador.

In terms of ‘acceleration to 100 km/h’, the newcomer is not inferior to the SVJ version, staying within 2.8 seconds. The car accelerates to 200 km/h in 8.7 seconds. The maximum speed reaches 355 km/h, which is 5 km/h faster.

The new model can be distinguished by a different front bumper. It has an active spoiler, and the Aventador LP 780-4 Ultimae is painted in one of 18 (!) standard body colors, and those who want more can choose any of 300 additional shades.

It remains to add that the last Aventador is produced in coupe (350 cars) and roadster (250 cars). The next model is expected in 2022–2023. It is assumed that the car will also have a 12-cylinder engine, but complemented by a hybrid superstructure.

How do you want the next Lamborghini model to be?
