Lexus LC is an S-class sports coupe from Lexus, a luxury division of the Japanese automobile maker, Toyota Motor Corporation, which has been produced since 2017. In 2020, Israeli buyers could buy the 2017 first generation Lexus LC Coupe.

The 2018/2019 Lexus LC 2-Door 4-Seater Coupe is 4,770 mm long, 1,920 mm wide, and has a wheelbase of 2870 mm. Its trunk volume reaches 197 liters.

Exterior and interior

The striking exterior of the 2018/2019 Lexus LC embodies a unique interpretation of the Lexus L-finesse design philosophy. The coupé's athletic profile features dynamic rooflines that converge slightly at the rear to create a unique silhouette. The 2019/2020 Lexus LC attracts the eye with its aggressive exterior. The signature spindle-shaped grille, combined with the headlight blades, truly match the extravagant appearance. Elegant standing mirrors, retractable door handles, eccentric LED rear lights are also impressive. The active spoiler is able to rise automatically when reaching 80 km/h and go back to 40 km/h. Frameless doors look incredible. The interior fully consists of high quality materials: leather and alcantara, matt aluminum trim, expensive plastic, fleecy carpet.

Modifications

The new Lexus LC is delivered to Israel as a rear-wheel drive vehicle equipped with two engine options: a 5 liter atmospheric V-shaped 8-cylinder petrol engine with 477 hp and a hybrid system that runs on both petrol and electricity, which comprises a 3.5-liter V-6 engine together with an electric motor producing 359 hp. Both are complemented by an automatic transmission: a 10-speed version for the petrol engine and a 4-speed version for the hybrid one. The petrol engine accelerates to 100 km in 4.7 seconds, while the hybrid version does it in 5 seconds. The maximum speed is 270 and 250 km/h, respectively.

Trim versions

Israeli buyers of the Lexus LC 2019/2020 can choose from the LC 500 trim for the petrol model and the LC 500h for the hybrid model. The latter is equipped with a panoramic roof. All models have sports suspension, interior lighting, pedal pads and kicking plates, sports seats, Alcantara or leather interior, LED headlights and R21 or R20 alloy wheels.

All the 2020 Lexus LC trim versions have at least 7 airbags, including window ones, central locking, rear camera, rear and front parking sensors, adaptive cruise control, driving mode selection system, ABS and ASR, lane control and blind spot monitoring, traffic sign recognition, hill start assist, brake assist, collision avoidance system, stability assist and steering stabilization system.

The basic options of the new 2020/2021 Lexus LC Coupe comprise a multimedia system suitable for Bluetooth, USB and smartphone control, an audio system, electrically folding mirrors, electrically adjustable front memory seats, heated and ventilated front seats, active power steering, 2-zone climate control, keyless access, push button start, and an adaptive lighting system.
