Mazda CX-3 SUV. 1st generation, 2019 restyling
The subcompact Mazda CX-3 front-wheel drive SUV has been produced since 2014 in Japan. In March 2019, the first generation Mazda CX-3 underwent restyling. In 2020, the restyled version was sold on the Israeli market.
Exterior
After the restyling, the Mazda CX-3 boasts the new exterior design, interior decoration, and even the technical filling. The design of the radiator grille has slightly changed, the front optics and rear lights have acquired a different pattern. In addition, the silver framing of the fog lights are replaced by a black decor, approximately the same as that used to darken the rear roof pillars. The window frames of the doors are now glossy.
Interior
As for the interior of the 2019 Mazda CX-3, the major changes touched the central tunnel, the layout of which has seriously changed due to the replacement of the usual handbrake lever with an electric handbrake button. The layout of the switches and cupholders has been revised, and the phone niche at the base of the console has become larger. The front seats are equipped with a new armrest with soft padding, plus, they have become wider with a dense base of well-absorbing urethane foam. The designers of the restyling of the 2019/2020 Mazda CX-3 did not forget about the rear passengers, having provided them with a folding armrest with convenient cup holders.
The interior elements of the Mazda CX-3 2020 SUV are distinguished by the predominance of gray shades. Among other things, the manufacturer of the Mazda CX-3 focuses on improved noise insulation by increasing the thickness of the door panels and rear windows and by improving the quality of sealing door gaps.
Modifications
In Israel, the upgraded 2019/2020 Mazda CX-3 comes with only one engine option: a 2-liter SKYACTIVE-G petrol engine with 156 hp, which allows the SUV to accelerate to 197 km/h. It is equipped with a 6-speed automatic transmission.
Trim versions
Israeli buyers can choose from three trim versions of the Mazda CX-3: Pure White, Sport and Zoom. Apart from purely ‘external’ differences, they are all equipped with almost a complete set of driver assistance systems, including a driving mode selection system, driver fatigue sensor, lane control and traffic sign recognition systems; the Pure White trim is also equipped with a collision avoidance system.
The navigation systems, voice control, leather interior, and 2-zone climate control will make your trip more comfortable. The more advanced Pure White and Sport trim versions comprise adaptive cruise control. The automatic headlight range control, light and rain sensors, and the adaptive lighting system ensure better vision. And Pure White also boasts LED headlights.
