Features
At first glance, there are no big changes in the 2020 model, but as stated by representatives of Mercedes, the car has undergone a pinpoint modernization, eliminating all the technical issues of the previous version and received a modern design with the trends of the rest of the company’s lineup.
The 2019/2020 Mercedes GLC Coupe AMG slightly changed the body geometry for a lower silhouette, received new body kits, grille, exhaust pipes, and optics pattern. The grille, named Panamericana, has received a lot of vertical chrome moldings against the background of the same huge badge with a star. The optics received a C-shaped pattern. Full-length continuous air intake with a taper in the middle is located at the front. The hood lid remains with the same four light ribs. A small ledge appeared at the back, it creates a niche for the license plate. The tailpipes have been replaced by twin round shapes, instead of the trapezoidal tailpipes of the previous version.
The interior is made in the best traditions of AMG designers. The interior color of carbon, diluted with subtle, appropriately slipping red lines, sets the sporty tone. The seats received massive lateral support and sporty shapes. The new 12-inch center console monitor with multimedia functions is striking, and the virtual instrument cluster is also AMG-styled. The multifunctional steering wheel has touch buttons.
