The Honda Passport has become more brutal after the restyling
The Honda Passport is a shorter version of the Pilot SUV with a 2-row 5-seater interior instead of a 3-row one. In September 2021, the manufacturer presented the restyled model. With its new front bumper, the vehicle looks more brutal, featuring the fenders and hood inspired by the Ridgeline pickup and a larger radiator grille with a rougher pattern. The TrailSport off-road version has the same ‘brutal’ spirit. The Passport is only the first model with such an ‘off-road’ modification, as the brand followed in the footsteps of Subaru and their Wilderness series, so there will be other TrailSport models. The SUV is now equipped with larger exhaust tailpipes and smaller 18-inch wheels (they used to be 20-inch). But at the same time you can install the higher profile tires. In the near future, the manufacturer plans to modify the TrailSport version, supplementing it with reinforced suspension and off-road tires. In the meantime, it is distinguished by a body decor, a track widened by 1 cm and special wheels 245 mm wide.
The interior of the restyled 2021 Honda Passport sports new detachable materials with contrasting stitching. The model has new features, for example, the second row passenger warning system. The powertrains have not changed. The vehicle is still supplied to the USA with a 3.5-liter V6 engine (284 hp) and a 9-speed automatic transmission. The model can be front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive.
