2016 Skoda Kodiaq SUV. 1st generation
Skoda Kodiaq is a mid-size 5-door SUV produced by the Czech automobile maker, Škoda Auto, since 2016. The front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive versions of the Kodiaq are available, both of which can be 5-seater or 7-seater. In 2020, Israeli buyers could purchase the first generation Skoda Kodiaq.
Skoda Kodiaq SUV is 4,697 mm long, 1,882 mm wide, and has a wheelbase of 2,791 mm. The trunk volume varies from 233 liters (minimum) to 1,968 liters (maximum). Thanks to the Kodiaq’s impressive size, its passengers can feel comfort and complete freedom. The Israeli market offers the 5-seater and 7-seater versions of this SUV.
Modifications
Israeli buyers can choose either a front-wheel drive SUV or a 4×4 option of the 2019/2020 Skoda Kodiaq, while all the engines are turbocharged. The front-wheel drive Kodiaq can be powered by a 1.5-liter petrol or 2.0-liter diesel engine. Both of them produce 150 hp. And both can reach speeds of up to 198 km/h. Their average fuel consumption is different: the petrol engine consumes 6.3 liters per 100 km, while the diesel engine consumes 5 liters per 100 km. The all-wheel drive Kodiaq can also be equipped with 2 liter petrol or diesel engines with 190 hp. Both of them provide a top speed of 210 km/h. The petrol engine consumes more fuel than the diesel one: its average consumption is 7.1 liters versus 5.6 liters per 100 km. All engines are complemented by a 7-speed semi-automatic transmission.
Trim versions
6 trim versions of the 2020 Skoda Kodiaq are available in Israel. In fact, the Ambition or Style trim versions are provided for the front-wheel drive models, while the Business trim can be chosen for the petrol engine modification. The all-wheel drive models can have the Style, Exclusive or Laurin & Klement trim versions. For the petrol engine modifications, you can choose the sports Skoda Kodiaq SportLine version.
Such basic options as 6 airbags, front and rear child seat mounting system, ABS, ASR, drive mode selection system, driver fatigue sensor, lane control, traffic sign recognition system, collision avoidance system, brake assist, hill start assist and hill descent assist are included in all the Karoq’s trims. The SportLine and Laurin&Klement are distinguished by real luxury and a wide range of options, including decorative moldings, hands-free trunk door opening, 3-zone climate control, rear and front automatic parking sensors, stylish ceiling made of black fabric, seats trimmed in Alcantara, third row of seats, panoramic roof, and a sunroof.
