Toyota Corolla is a C-class car produced by Toyota (Japan) since 1966. It has entered the Guinness World Records as the best-selling car in the world. In 2020, the 12th generation Toyota Corolla, released at the end of 2018, could be purchased on the Israeli market as a front-wheel drive sedan, a front-wheel drive 5-door estate or a front-wheel drive 5-door hatchback.
Distinctive features
The 2019/2020 Toyota Corolla Sedan is 4,630 mm long and 1,780 mm long, and its 2,700 mm wheelbase allows the passengers to sit comfortably inside the car. Such exterior elements of the new Toyota Corolla as the massive front and rear fenders, a smooth roofline, an impressive radiator grille equipped with horizontal stripes, a low and athletic silhouette emphasize the high-status image of the sedan. Thanks to the new modular TNGA platform, the 2019/2020 Toyota Corolla Sedan has the improved body rigidity and a lower center of gravity, which provides increased agility and better visibility.

Modifications
In Israel, the 2020 Corolla Sedan comes with 2 engine options. A petrol engine with 132 hp accelerates the car to 190 km/h and consumes, on average, 5.4 liters per 100 km. A hybrid engine with 121 hp makes it possible to accelerate to 180 km/h, but the average fuel consumption is only 3.4 liters per 100 km. Both engines are equipped with a modern infinitely variable transmission.
Trim levels
Israeli buyers can choose from 3 trim levels of the 2020 Toyota Corolla Sedan: Sun, Sense and Limited. The models with engine engines are available only on the Sense and Sun trim levels, but the model with a hybrid engine is also available on the Limited trim level.
Naturally, there are differences between these trims, but they all have an almost complete set of airbags, except for window ones, a tire pressure sensor, an immobilizer, central locking, adaptive cruise control, an almost complete set of electronic ‘assistants’, including a driving mode selection system, fatigue sensor driver, lane departure warning system and blind spot control system, collision avoidance system and traffic sign recognition system, brake assist and hill start assist.
Active power steering, 2-zone climate control, multifunctional steering wheel, electric folding mirrors and leather steering wheel are also available on all the trim levels of the 2020/2021 Toyota Corolla Sedan.
