The Volkswagen Golf is a C-class passenger car from the German automaker Volkswagen, produced since 1974. Today, there are already eight generations of this famous car on the market, the last of which, released in 2019, can be purchased on the Israeli market in the"hatchback’ body.

Distinctive features
The new Golf 2019/2020 has received many modern technologies and improvements: matrix LED headlights, an improved head-up display, Alexa integration and an NFC mobile key with compatible Samsung smartphones via ESIM.
The interior of the Volkswagen Golf 2020 has undergone major changes: a new fully digital display, a touch screen, a Travel Assist system borrowed from the Passat, which performs the function of a semi-autonomous driving system, adaptive cruise control, lane keeping, a steering wheel equipped with sensors that detect when the driver touches it. The Golf 2020 is the first Volkswagen car to have the Car2X standard, where it is possible to exchange information with other cars and transport infrastructure within a radius of up to 800 m.

In Israel, the new Golf comes with a petrol 1.5-liter turbo engine with a capacity of 150 hp, which accelerates the car to 216 km/h. The average fuel consumption is 5.2 liters per 100 km. It is complemented by a 7-speed robotic gearbox.

Israeli buyers of the Volkswagen Golf 2020 have two options to choose from: the Comfortline and the Comfortline Plus. Both have 5 airbags, adaptive cruise control, ABS, braking assistance system (BAS, EBD, EBA), stabilization system, driver fatigue sensor and lane control, active power steering, 2-zone climate control, start-stop system, electric mirrors, diode headlights, adaptive lighting system. The Volkswagen Golf Comfortline Plus boasts a panoramic roof and an expanded range of options.
